The Â鶹ԭ´´ aims to be the leading association for the industry working to ensure adoption of building controls solutions within the built environment.

The pace of technological change is a challenge and an opportunity, with the sector able to innovate and push product development in order to shape the market and develop products that can optimise tangible and intangible benefits. Cybersecurity and resilience, big data and safe management of data, smart systems and connected facilities, improved connectivity using cloud technology and 5G to provide remote management and insights are all sectors that building controls can play a role in. This will give the Â鶹ԭ´´ multiple opportunities to collaborate and share ideas across multiple markets and organisations.

As part of the Â鶹ԭ´´â€™s Corporate Plan going forward, one of its aims is to build relationships with key strategic partners, including other trade bodies such as FETA, CIBSE, Construction Leadership Council and the Lighting Industry Association (LIA) and the Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL).
