Working Group Chair:

The Skills Working Group is chaired by Adam Broomfield, Kendra Energy

The Skills Working Group is a central resource for the Â鶹ԭ´´ on all skills development issues.  Powered by volunteers, the Skills Working Group is a forum for developing a balanced Â鶹ԭ´´ view on key skills development issues; they are a group for drafting Â鶹ԭ´´ skills development guidance; they provide Â鶹ԭ´´ input to skills development documents from other organisations, national education initiatives or Â鶹ԭ´´ sections; and they are charged with promoting skills development amongst Â鶹ԭ´´ Members at all levels (vocational, academic and continuing professional development).

Open to representatives in Â鶹ԭ´´ member companies only.

  • Sharing best practice and enabling collaboration

2026 Priorities

  • Developing and delivering BEMS-focused training/information about the Building safety Act a Industry Competency Framework

  • Develop and deliver an education programme for consultants

  • Exploring higher level qualifications for the BEMS industry
