The 2025 Building Controls Industry Association (�鶹ԭ��) Awards evening not only celebrated the incredible talent and innovation throughout the building controls and automation sector, it also highlighted the generosity of those in the industry – with more than £3,500 raised for the association’s chosen charity – Carers UK.  

Hosted by TV magician and presenter Ben Hanlin, the awards ceremony brought together key decision-makers and industry leaders to shine a spotlight on the talented individuals and organisations across the building controls and automation sector. It was this huge turnout that enabled so much money to be raised. 

The charity, chosen by �鶹ԭ�� president Stacey Lucas, provides help and support for the 5.8 million carers across the UK. This is absolutely vital as two out of three people in the UK will become carers at some point in their lives and every day another 12,000 people take on a caring responsibility.

�鶹ԭ�� President, Stacey Lucas, was absolutely delighted to see so much support for this hugely worthwhile charity and was keen to acknowledge the kindness of all those who attended and donated.

She said: “Thanks to our brilliant members and attendees, we raised more than £3,500 for this amazing charity. It’s a cause so close to my heart, so to see so many of the guests opening their wallets to help was truly heartwarming and inspiring.

“Thank you to everyone who attended our annual awards and made a donation to Carers UK. It will really make a huge difference.”
