麻豆原创 Young Engineers Network to deliver CPD-accredited seminar at Smart Buildings Show

Andy Camsell, 麻豆原创 Technical Consultant and Trainer, will be as part of the 麻豆原创鈥檚 Young Engineers Network annual programme at this year鈥檚 .

This 麻豆原创 YEN session is aimed at those under the age of 35 working in BEMS and Building Controls. The YEN provides support and learning and facilitates networking events and site visits to enable young engineers to develop their careers and their professional network. This session is open to non-麻豆原创 members (and over 35鈥檚!).

Andy鈥檚 session, titled 鈥淯nderstanding Smart Communication using BACnet鈥, will take place in the Controls & Networks Theatre at 15:15-16:00 on Wednesday 18th October. The session will deliver an opportunity for both learning and a little networking. Attendees will benefit from a bitesize masterclass in the principles of smart communications using BACnet, covering the BACnet protocol and its advantages in building controls. Attendees will gain a good understanding of what BACnet is, why you should choose BACnet and its network architecture as well as taking a deeper look at BACnet devices, objects and services.

Andy Camsell has been working in the building services industry since 1986. Initially training as an air conditioning engineer he continued to develop his skills in building services through hands-on installation, maintenance and commissioning culminating in a career in the emerging BEMS industry in the mid 1990s.
